"Precision Monte Carlo event generators and LHC measurements"

More information about our activities
can be found in this poster (in German).

Our group is working at the interface between experiment and theory for LHC physics and will have a particular focus on QCD Monte Carlo simulations and ATLAS measurements sensitive to their modelling aspects. If you are interested in joining the group as postdoctoral researcher, PhD- or master student, do not hesitate to contact me!

Bachelor/Master theses

If you are a student interested in pursuing a Bachelor- or Master project in our group, please contact me to discuss topics you could be interested in. Since the group is working at the interface between (particle physics) experiment and theory there will be a broad spectrum of options for such projects, be it related to measurements with the ATLAS detector at CERN, or theory simulation for such collisions, or even more technical work about Monte Carlo methods. A listing of potential topics for Bachelor/Master theses is provided here in German language:

Beispiel-Themen für Abschlussarbeiten auf Bachelor oder Master-Niveau
